CLA stands for conjugated linoleic
acid. CLA is naturally occurring in meats and dairy and has been linked
to many different health benefits. CLA is known to reduce the risk of
heart disease, fight inflammation, and aiding with weight management.
Conjugated linoleic acid also have been linked to anti-oxidant
properties and is perhaps best known for its purported abilities to
help fight cancer. The range of CLA health fighting properties is wide
and have been supported by many scientific studies. It is particularly
recommended for those who do not get enough meat and dairy in their
diet. CLA has the potential to better many parts of your health, from
insulin management for diabetics, to weight loss and weight
maintenance, and for body builders, it has been demonstrated that CLA
may even increase the rate at which muscle is grown.
